New Year's Resolutions

Good morning beautiful world ... All I'm hearing lately is people asking: "What New Year's resolutions are you going to make?" - Me? - Very simple - "None" - I'm not a great believer in resolutions made on the 1st January that, being optimistic, are broken already by the 25th. If I'm realistic, I should say broken by the 3rd!!!

I am more of the opinion that we should change our lives, or aspects thereof, when we feel the time is right to do so - and without hesitation. The moment we decide should be the moment of change. If we dilly dally between deciding and changing, we'll probably end up doing nothing.

However, if we want to use the popular cultural tradition of making resolutions for the new year, then why don't we make them in December? ... That's usually when I make mine if I make any at all.

The way I see it is ... No matter how frigging terrible and difficult the year has been, we can all choose to end it on a positive note and, thereby, really go into the new year as we mean to continue throughout the year. An end of year shift from negative energy to a positive attitude sets the tone for the coming year. It restores hope and creates a new outlook of optimism... (and as I write this ... my phone just beeped ... only for me to see 11:11 on its clock ... if that's not a sign, then nothing is) ...

Point is ... we are all more likely to keep promises we make to ourselves, and stick to changes in our lives, when we do them because we want to and when we feel the time is right to do so ... and not because we're under pressure, to do so, by some popular cultural tradition.

What changes will you be implementing in your life?

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas everyone ... While most of the world is celebrating, I would like to take a moment to send a virtual hug to everyone but especially to those for whom today is a day filled with bitter-sweet nostalgia and mixed feelings of happiness and sadness.

Today, of all days, I send my compassion and loving sympathy to those remembering dear, departed, loved ones - because I understand that this time of the year is the hardest. I understand how all the beautiful memories both comfort and upset at the same time.

My heart goes out to all of you who wish you could be closer to someone who is at a distance ... whether that distance be emotional, mental or physical ... but ... distance is only the time it takes to pick up the phone, send a message or write.

... and, finally, I especially send love to all of those who have nowhere to celebrate, nothing to eat, no family and no roof over their heads ... Much love to everyone ...

To all those celebrating something ... I wish you a beautiful holiday season ... to those not celebrating anything ... there is always something to celebrate ... so, celebrate life!!!

Life is such a precious and, yet, volatile gift to have. None of us know how long it will last and that's why we should make every moment count ... and remember, the biggest gift you can give anyone is your love and your time. Neither cost anything but can mean so much to someone else.
Time, by its very nature, is so fleeting and precious, we should choose wisely who to spend it with, because it's the one thing we can never get back.

I wish you all Love , happiness , peace , health, prosperity and everything you wish for yourselves and more. May this be the end of all our karmic cycles and the beginning of new ones! One global love <3 span="">

Conflicts help us learn and grow.

It's not the people we have difficulties with, in life, that need to change; it's our attitude towards them, and the situation, that needs to change... because nobody can change anybody. We all change when we want to, when we're ready to and when we have the strength and courage to do so. Or, when something prompts us to do so - in any area of our lives.

No matter how hard we try and maintain peace in our lives, while we interact with others, there will always be a time of some kind of conflict with someone. It's inevitable. Conflicts are how we learn and grow. Sometimes, conflicts arise because of karmic situations, other people interfering, false rumours and other types of negative energy, which is completely beyond our control... and we can't control the uncontrollable. Everything happens for a reason and that is what we need to accept and analyse.

All we can do, for our own balance and inner peace, is to hold steady on our ground and, instead of adding fuel to the fire; remain still, in silent observation with a great deal of patience and compassion. The storm always passes but our attitude, during it, will make a huge difference between whether everything good will be razed to the ground or if the sun will once again shine and give new light for rebirth.

More often than not, in difficult times, we walk away because it's easier than staying and fighting for what, we know, is just and truthful. We allow pride to get the better of us ... More often than non, we don't give up on people, and situations, because we don't care, we give up because we run out of patience and lose touch with our compassionate side. Love each other peeps. Life really is two minutes and we don't take anything when we check out. So, don't let pride or a lack of patience make you give up. One global love

Dear You ...

Dear You,

I don’t know you and you don’t know me but I know what you’re going through. The pain you’re feeling right now is the same pain I’ve felt. I’ve been where you are and I’ve felt the deepest sorrow a human being can feel. The only thing worse than losing a loved one is losing a loved one to cancer at a very tender age.

I know how empty you feel right now and how the world makes no sense any more. I know that feeling of being dead inside as if someone ripped your heart out and left you numb. I know how it feels to be plodding along aimlessly through life without really being present.

I lost a lifelong friend to cancer before she made it to the age of 34. She struggled for two long, hard, years with cancer before her frail body gave up the fight. I watched her decline from the vibrant human being she was to a bed ridden shell of her former self.

All I could do was standby and watch as the disease slowly took all the life out of her. I felt helpless. I didn’t want to lose her but I didn’t know how to save her and after she departed this world to start the next phase of her journey, I felt guilt. I felt like I should have done more for her. I kept questioning whether I did everything I could have possibly done and I beat myself up over it every day for three years following her passing.

I couldn’t and wouldn’t accept the inevitable of her condition and hindsight is a wonderful thing. There was nothing I could do for her except be there for her and love her the way I always had. I know now that I couldn’t have saved her. Unfortunately, I don’t get to decide who lives and who dies.
I know, that like me, you’re going through the mourning process and it will take time to heal. You should take all the time you need. Everyone mourns in their own way and for as long as they need to but, I want you to remember one thing. Love is all that really matters.

Your loved one, just like mine, wouldn’t want you to suffer the pain you’re feeling. I’m sure they’d want you to live your life and make the most of every precious moment.

It’s taken me a long time to realize that life is about cycles and death doesn’t mean the end. It’s just another cycle and within life itself, from the moment we’re born, every hello must end in goodbye. The only thing that keeps us bound, throughout all cycles, is our love for one another. Every moment we share together and every memory we create is a precious gift to be treasured and looked back upon with the same love and happiness we felt at the time of creation.

With every encounter, our lives are enriched. We all touch each other in some way and we learn from one another. Instead of mourning our loss, we should celebrate what we have gained. We are all very fortunate to share our lives with one another in whatever capacity and we are all blessed to know love and share it with others.

I know that, right now, this letter is probably of no real consolation to you but one day you will see the world, once again, as a beautiful place. One day, you’ll feel your loved one, once again, smiling at you from wherever they are and, once again, you’ll start living in the knowledge that only love matters.

Detox - Mind, Body & Soul

Detox - Mind, Body and Soul

Link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/7344241851/
Good afternoon… on request of a friend, I am starting a support space in my Facebook group: - Mind, Body and Soul - for people who wish to join me on a general health kick and all systems detox. Maybe, we can all inspire and support each other, suggest menus and healthy eating plans. If we stick together, I’m sure we’ll reach our goals and stick to our plans! :-) As with any health kick and detox, you should consult your doctor first.

For the detox, you need to reduce to a minimum, or cut out completely, sugar, salt, caffeine, alcohol, processed foods, red meats, dairy and starches. Sorry, but when you’re doing “system spring cleaning” they have to go. Good news is, you can substitute dairy milk with rice, almond or soya milk. I like rice milk but prefer to make my own fresh almond milk. There are also many soya/tofu substitutes around for other mainstream foods. However, I would caution about going from one addiction to another. I’ve been there, done that and bought the T-shirt. It doesn’t work. It’s better to stick to fresh 95% of the time. I’m leaving 5% for “time out” moments.

So, when you get up in the morning, aim to drink a glass of water. Visualise it going through your system, washing it and eliminating any toxins.
A great kickstart morning breakfast (on a detox) - and one of my personal favorites is a freshly made vegetable juice with:

3 medium size carrots,
1 green bell pepper,
5 runner beans,
1 small sprig of parsley,
2 tablespoons of soya protein

You can drink plenty of green tea and water as well.

Then, to get your metabolism up you should do some exercising. Cardio is the best. Not only will it help you burn any unwanted “padding, ” you’ll continue to burn calories long after you finish working out. You should aim to do a minimum of 30 minutes. 45 to 60 minutes is ideal.

My favourite exercises are swimming, biking and jogging. Today, I went out on my bicycle for an hour (or so) and burnt a total of 1476 calories. That’s a lot of calories compared to what I might burn in the same time on a treadmill. Plus, I find the outdoors and the fresh air revitalizing for the senses. Before I went out, I drank 35ml of L-Carnatine just to give my workout a little bit of an edge. When I got back, I had another mug of green tea and plenty of water.

If you’re on a diet, you need to know that you have to burn 3500 calories to lose one pound. If you go on a bike ride 5 or 6 times a week, you can potentially burn 9000 calories a week. That’s little over 2lbs in weight, which is a healthy amount to lose per week.

If you want to seriously detox your system in a very powerful way, you could drink 35ml of ACAI berry juice in the morning.

Another thing I find helps with exercise is to find something you love to do, then you won’t think of it as a workout. There are some days when I feel like dancing, so I put on a Zumba video in youtube and dance like a crazy woman for 30 minutes or so. You don’t need to get it right. It doesn’t have to be perfect. The aim is to just get the body moving and the heart rate up.

Any form of exercise is also beneficial to the mind because it helps you to concentrate. This can help us in other areas of our lives. It’s also a perfect way to train the brain to focus on a task at hand, which is also useful in other areas of our lives.

Exercise is also spiritually beneficial because, when we’re doing any activity for a prolonged amount of time, we reduce our stress levels, which in turn brings us more inner peace.

After a hot shower and my cup of tea, I snacked on a banana. That kept me going until lunch and provided me with a post-exercise boost.

For lunch, I made a fresh fruit juice consisting of:

1 medium grapefruit,
2 oranges,
2 mandarins,
2 tablespoons of soya protein

Between lunch and dinner, you can snack on any piece of fruit you like.

Dinner might be a vegetable platter - (if you’re a vegetarian or willing to try something simple)
It might be lean fish or lean meat (preferably grilled) with vegetables. Remember the golden rule of thumb is three quarters of your plate filled with vegetables compared to 1 quarter lean meat or fish.

The important thing with any detox or weight loss program is to treat each day like it’s the only day. Never think you’re in this for the long haul. You’ll never get there. A month, 3 months or a year seem like a very long time when you’re just struggling to get through the new eating patterns in one day. Yes, you will need to shop in advance. However, remember that you can’t eat what you don’t buy. So, shop wisely.

I try to only think about the one meal in front of me and never any further ahead. I find the more I think about food, the more I tend to obsess over it and the more I create an attachment to it. Then, I start to feel like I’m depriving myself and boom, my eating habits go all over the place.

By just taking baby steps, one at a time, slowly slowly we all eventually get to where we want to be.
Good luck to you all on your endeavor and remember you are not alone.

If you want to join in the discussion and be part of the group, please come and find me on Facebook.

The Power to Transform is Yours!

99% of the time, what we believe is the product of other people's beliefs. Our entire belief system is based on beliefs our families have, the type of education we receive, the culture we find ourselves immersed in, the role we play in society and what is expected of us within that role.
Clinging too rigidly to beliefs can hold us back in life. It can stop us from progressing. It can prevent us from following our dreams. It can also stop us from understanding others who are different to us.
In order to understand others, communicate more effectively and aim for a world where there is peace, we first need to begin to understand ourselves.
By changing our beliefs, we can change our entire world. We can create the life we have always wanted and we can find happiness everywhere and in everything.

HAARP, the Euro and the shootings in Norway

I heard someone say today: “Not everything is a conspiracy.” I totally agree. Just like I have to say that not every conspiracy theorist is a crackpot crazy person!

It’s so true, everything is not about conspiracy. However, there are some times when you just have to admit that the evidence surrounding the events just don’t add up. Sometimes, it’s because the events that happen just seem too coincidental to be natural occurrences.

Sometimes, it’s because events just don’t tie in with the “average norm” of the status quo. And, sometimes people’s behaviour and the unfolding of events are just too fantastic to be credible.

Of course, if a series of events take place over a long period of time, then thanks to our short-term memory, we only look at each event as a singular isolated incident. On its own, each event doesn’t mean very much. It has its own importance, but it’s only relative in the grand scheme of things. Only when we put the pieces together do we start to get a bigger and clearer picture.

I continue to reiterate that I am not by any means a conspiracy theorist. I also keep repeating myself when I say that what I write are just a few of the ramblings that take place in my head.

If you don’t like what I write, don’t read it. If you don’t believe me, that’s good. Nobody should take anybody’s word for anything until they have done their own due diligence and found the answers for themselves. If you can see where I’m coming from, good on you but please still draw your own conclusions.

As a professional singer, I’ve had the honour of working with many magicians in my time. Some were bad and some were so good that even close up, nobody could figure out how they were pulling their tricks off. Whether they were good or bad though, the one thing they all had in common was the art of distraction and optical deception.

Magicians and their assistants know how to set the scene and perfectly create an illusion that appears to us to be reality. As we all know though, reality is what’s going on behind the illusion to make it all seem real.

I see global politics a little like a magic show. Politicians and governments are merely assistants to and a facade for the billionaires who put them where they are. Politicians’ speeches and actions serve only to distract us from the real issues going on beneath the surface of real politics.

I don’t really understand politics and it’s not something I get into, but the events that have taken place over the last month or so has me thinking. I wonder if I can get you thinking too. Not because I want you to think how horrid what I’m saying is, but because if you can draw the same conclusions as me, then maybe we can all stand on the same road towards making a difference, in the world, when it counts the most.

Before last week, I don’t think that in my 43 years on this planet I’d ever heard of an earthquake in Washington.

Now, I’d be inclined to believe that it is possible that global weather patterns have changed and decided to rampage through New York and Washington DC, but lots of things convince me this is no coincidence and no act of nature.

Ostracize me if you will but just stop and think for a moment.

  • Never before in the history of the world have I ever heard of a city the size of New York City being shut down for the sake of a hurricane. My memory’s not that good but I can’t even remember hearing of a rampant hurricane in New York, period.
  • Obama’s speech to the American people to take this warning very seriously and the expression on his face were that of fear. It made me immediately think: “What does he know that we don’t?”
  • All US and a few EU networks seem to be instilling the fear of God into people. I’ve never seen this kind of sensationalist fear publicized for any hurricane before. Again, it makes me think: “Is there more going on than we know?”

On the Internet, I found a series of meteorological radar scans that imply and quite possibly provide evidence to suggest that this particularly huge hurricane had a less than Divine creative hand. Unless, of course, the Divine Creator has been given time off for good behaviour and HAARP is the temporary replacement. Maybe the Divine Creator has been fired all together.

The global political world has always shown concern about weapons of mass destruction, yet HAARP is the ultimate weapon of mass destruction. The most extraordinary and genial aspect of it is that nobody can prove what it can do. So, the perpetrators behind it can never be brought to justice.

HAARP is the stuff science fiction is made of. It’s so super-fantastic, we refuse to truly acknowledge its existence because we can’t quite wrap our brains around the concept that it can mimic God. Not only, but it comes fully installed with its own GPS system. So, the hand of HAARP can touch down whenever and wherever least expected.

HAARP is the ultimate paid assassin and its latest target, in the generally held opinion among conspiracy theorists, is Wall Street. Why? I can’t answer that, but I can give a few suggestions based on events that have taken place over the last month or so.

First of all, there’s been much talk in the mainstream and alternate media about the world being completely bankrupt. Greece, Spain, Italy and Portugal (if I’m not mistaken) want out of the Euro. After these countries announced there wish to get out of the Euro, experts started talking about the Euro being on the brink of collapse. What was discussed less in the mainstream media but was mentioned more in the not so mainstream media was the collapse of the dollar.

I’m not an expert but if Wall Street is destroyed by the hurricane, will it mean world markets will crash too? Another very important question, I think, is will this be the excuse banks need to wipe out our savings “legally” as happened with so many Icelandic investors?

Even if this isn’t the main motive behind Irene, the destruction of New York City will mean a huge boost for American economy. In fact, the more damage the better. Houses will need rebuilding. Wounded will need medical care. People who have been evacuated and need to return will have to splash out on all their relocation costs. Public and private transport requires fuel. I’m sure if you sat down and thought about this enough, you could come up with more ideas than me.

In fact, a couple of these hurricanes a year in key places could set the ball rolling for the happy and healthy prosperity of all global economy! The world could be booming again. Oh, sorry, I meant to say the financially rich will get financially richer and the financially poor will get financially poorer.

Yet, in everything that could happen and everything that has happened, there is one disturbing intuition I can’t let go of; the shootings in Norway. There is an amass of information now on the Internet that concludes the events in Norway were a false flag; ingeniously carried out to start an inter-cultural feud in a country that has always been multi-culturally avant guard.

The idea my inner spirit keeps fighting is that the shootings were random and that Anders Behring Breivik is a Christian extremist. I think there’s much more to it. I don’t think this man is who he claims to be nor who the Internet and Media are making him out to be. I don’t think the shootings were random. I think they were carefully thought through.

I think Breivik was a puppet carrying out orders. One clue to us all is Breivik’s insistence on refusing criminal responsibility. He accepted and pleaded guilty to pulling the trigger but but he denied criminal responsibility. Only a man who is not the mastermind behind these events would make such a claim.

So, I went digging around on the Internet to find out some information about the students who were killed. I found some very interesting, and perhaps coincidental (or not) facts.

We were told the students were part of Norway’s Youth Labour party. What we weren’t told is that a great number of the deceased were studying at the University of Svalbard, which carries in the areas of biology, geology, technology and geophysics in the arctic region.

For those who don’t know, like I didn’t, the university of Svalbard is closely linked to HAARP. Why? Well, in Norway there is something called EISCAT; the European Incoherent Scatter Scientific Association. They run scatter radar systems at various sites in the country; one of which is Tromso; coincidentally not very far from where the shootings took place.

The purpose of EISCAT is to study earth-sun interactions based on changes in the ionosphere. At one of the installations, EISCAT operate an ionospheric heating device very similar to HAARP.

Another interesting fact about EISCAT is that it is co-funded by the United Kingdom - that saw rioting this month - by Japan - that suffered a devastating earthquake and Tsunami; by Norway - which saw explosions and shootings; by Finland, Sweden, China - which had its fair share of disasters last year and at the beginning of this year; and finally by Germany, who wants to bail Europe out of its financial crisis.

However, moving on, my questions are:

Is EISCAT a competitor of HAARP?

Does EISCAT work with HAARP?

If HAARP was brewing something up in the ionosphere, what if EISCAT or Svalbard University students discovered it?

Could this have been a warning to the Scandinavian countries funding the project?

Is there a ploy to get EISCAT’s funding cut? That way HAARP would be the only weapon of its kind in the world.

I guess I’ll never find the answers to my questions. As per all odd cases, nobody will ever prove anything. Then, one day when we look back even the destruction hurricane Irene brings will be another singular isolated event in the memories of most people.
